I think this is a debt collector. They'll have to get in line.  Where's my bail-out from this crappy economy. I've been laid off twice.

It is a bill collector. I confirmed it.

Have been getting calls from this # for a while.  The person that is asked for is someone I've never heard of.  I have stayed on the line a couple of times to ask for my # to be removed.  The last time, the person that answered was very rude and stated that I had never spoken with anyone from there before and proceeded to argue with me.  I called the # back and ask to speak to a supervisor and was told that a supervisor would not want to talk to me or hear my problem.  Again very rude.  I ask for a customer service # and was told that they could not give me that number.

They are probably looking for the person who had your number before you got it.  Or the person they are looking for took out a load and gave a fake phone number.  

Either way, next time they call tell them "I know you are a bill collector.  Apparently [name] gave my phone number instead of his when he took out a loan.  You have to stop calling this number now."

Thats what I told the bank that called looking for Michael the Deadbeat when he stopped making his car payments.  It worked.  They stopped calling.

This number just called and did not leave a msg.  Caller ID says the number's from Springfield, LA.
