They use a fraudelent credit card which does actually transfer funds to your account but later gets re withdrawn due to it being fraudulent, leaving you with no car and no money. Very common paypal scam

Thank you, Andy! I just received an inquiry from this number asking for my PayPal email address to purchase an item I posted on Craigslist. They requested my email for my PayPal account and in return, would have someone pickup the item in person. Mind you, the buyer is half way across the country! I did a little more research, including a search of the phone number and found your response. Thanks again!

Someone from this number tried to convince me to sign up for PayPal to purchase something that I had posted on Craigs List. I thought they sounded shady, and when I saw your post I knew I was right! Thank you!!!

The people using this number try to scam you out of your items posted online using Paypal. Don't fall for it!!!

For me, this was Sgt. David Kim after my MacBook Pro that I listed on KSL.com in Salt Lake City. (Trying to play off that he is a military hero when he is actually a low-down deceiving scamma' jamma'!)

He tried to pull the PayPal trick. He kept trying to hurry me into setting it up so I assume the life of his stolen card was about to expire. Well,...... HE GOT ALONZO'D!
