100% SPAM. CREDIT CARD PHISHING SCAM. There is NO SUCH Exchange (middle set of numbers in 10-digit string) as "000". That is your FIRST CLUE this is BOGUS. SPOOFED (FAKE with Real Number HIDDEN) NUMBER. Caller ID said "ILLINOIS", but most likely this is generated from call centers OVERSEAS, and thus out of the jurisdiction of the FLACID "Do Not Call List" Law.
When I see numbers like this I PICK UP/HANG UP IMMEDIATELY (or press "IGNORE" on cell) WITHOUT ANSWERING. That may 'confuse' ROBODIALING Computer and help CUT DOWN on the number/frequency of calls.
I'd actually gone a WHOLE MONTH with none of these calls, recently.
Although, having been OUT-OF-STATE for three of those weeks - and not available by landline to attempt to SCAM - (AND WHO, but my CREDIT CARD COMPANY would have know that better, by our charges) so I THINK THE CREDIT CARD COMPANIES THEMSELVES are IN ON THESE SCAMS, THEMSELVES, supplying the INFORMATION on us to these SCAMMER/CRIMINALS OVERSEAS (and probably taking a CUT of all the STOLEN $ for THEMSELVES.)
