The number belongs to Advanstar,  tradeshow promotional company. Told them to remove my phone number from the auto dial list and not to harass me again or i would sue their [***]'s off. We shall see. Registering under the DO NOT CALL list is useless as they do nothing to eradicate these nuisance callers.

This is a service for MAGIC show, avestar communications.  They call past attendees for MAGIC and push for repeated attendance for the show in Vegas.

I just called them back as they have called here twice in the last 10 minutes.  They answered with Advanced Star Subscriptions.  I asked them what they do and the gentleman said they sell magazine subscriptions.  I asked him if he'd remove us from their calling list since we are a business.  He said he would so we'll see :)

The company is Advanstar. They might be calling you because they own several tradeshows, such as MAGIC and Licensing International Expo. They also own several magazines, which may have been the division you got when you called back.
