Got a call from this company last night. Said they had been notified from Micrsoft that my computer had been hacked. They could fix it and when I asked about cost they just kept saying they had been notified from Micosoft. Used that name a lot. They spent alot of time working on my computer then said what it would cost to fix it. $79 for a yr and $149 for 3 so not as had as the other lady. They were VERY persistant and almost had me convinced but i just could not give them my credit card #. They wiped my desktop clean before i could get my computer shut down. I called my tech co this morn and they fixed it in short order. VERY high pressure!

He called my mom told her he was from microsoft and she needed to pay right now because her "icr" was expired on her computer. Tryed to get 250 bucks out of my mom, lucky she called me and I let her know about these kind of scams. My mom said he was very hard to understand "india or arab". He kept repeating how he was from microsoft and she needed to pay right now.
