Is this a computer dialer to check for a fax machine?

Why am I receiving calls from this number?

We've been receiving calls from this number a lot today, too...  I called it back and it started to sound like a fax, but then I got a message (that sounded like an operator message) -"You have reached a number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service", etc....  Oh well...

Just letting it go next time...  ;-)
