Received this call at home and asked my VoIP phone company what to do to prevent robo callers. They installed a "1" in my call path. Now when you call me you hear: "Press 1 to make this call". Robo callers can't do this so it stops them cold. All humans simply press 1 to continue. Contact info@voipccg.com for more information.

No company name in caller ID says it all! I never do business with a cold caller with no company name in caller ID you will live to regret it trust me...

Got a call that asked for my first name and the line cut. When I called back, got a recorded message that said, "thanks for calling back. If you do not want receive future promotions and want to be placed on a do not call list press 1 now". The message was just repeating continuously even after I press 1.

Says they want me to verify my Google Plus account. I never gave them my phone number and I do not have a Google Plus account either. Obviously it's a scam of some sort, so I keep hanging up on them when they call. Google calling you to verify? Yeah, I don't think so!

Recording after answering says it was Google wanting me to verify my Google Plus account. Press 1 - and I did. The lady that then answered said: "Hello, can I have your full name?" To which I replied, well since you are working for Google - you should already know who I am. Her response was, "I didn't say I worked for Google," and I hung up and then blocked the caller.
