just received call, didn't answer.  Wish they would quit calling.

Received multiple calls from different numbers in this area code (217) for the last two weeks. All of them related to "warranty services". In all calls they ask if I can hear clearly. Seems that they are looking to have a recorded "yes" for some sort of scam. Appears to be the same scammer attacking from different numbers in this area code (Urbana, IL)

NEVER thought about getting the recorded yes~ good point.
Mine was a male recorded voice. Asked questions and paused for me to answer. When I didn't he kept going anyway. He did ask if I could hear him. Then said I was selected for a trip so I hung up

Claimed to be from "customer service" without mentioning any company name.
