This number was on my caller id but an attempt to call it back reached a recording that the number is incorrect. Still can't understand how companies and people can get numbers to show on caller id, yet they are not a working number.

No real name on caller id either.

Automated call offering carpet cleaning.  Press 1 to talk to someone, who will tell you that they will take your name off their list, but won't actually do anything but hang up on you.  I seem to get a call from them at least once a month. The number doesn't take incomming calls.

when ans machine came on, they hung up.  very annoying
