i RECIEVIED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER THIS IS THE SECOND CALL THAT I RECIEIVED IN A WEEK THEY ARE TARGETING BUSINESES THAY CSOME HOW CAN FIND BECARFUL THEY ASK ME FOR MY ADDRESS WHICH I DINDT GIVE OUT BECAREFUL

I received a call from this number (216-912-2002) several times. I never gave out my address until I found out (meaning... I finally understood what they were saying), what company they are representing.

The company is Navteq (www.navteq.com). The website looks professional and so I thought they probably sent the job of updating their database to india. I have listed Navteq's contact info below so that anyone who is as mad as me can call them and tell them what you think about them paying rude people to call and bother us while we're trying to earn a living. Unfortunately, the poor sap on the phone who answered could only say I can't confirm anything, and when he transffered me to the customer service manager what did I get... VOICE MAIL!!! This company should be punished for abusing their rights to contact hard working people at their place of business.

Here's my answer to these type of callers.

I have now purchased a fax machine and I have it set to answer after 4 rings. So if I am home I have 3 rings worth of time to answer. I also have caller ID. So when my phone rings, I check caller ID, don't recognize the number and do not answer it. After the 4th rings the fax picks and a fax tone is what is heard to the caller. This works so beautiful and I love cuz I am saving money too!

My phone service is with Verizon and I have canceled my call block feature and save 5.99 a month.

It’s not a prank call guys. its a call from Navteq which is the worlds largest GPS network provider. They want to put ur business on the GPS maps to help their customers locate your business. They don’t charge you anything because it helps their customers to locate places of interest on the maps whilst travelling. It’s a genuine call from a company which is trying to verify ur business’s details before they update it on their maps which are used in car navigation systems.
