***WARNING THIS IS A SCAM CALL****Guy with heavy accent called me asking if I had an attorney and my attorneys information.  This has happened multiple times over the last couple of months.  He claims to be with Orange County Law Firm(which after researching, company doesn't exist and the phone number they call from is not in Orange County it's Ohio based) representing Cash America Advance.  I know I've never done business with that company, don't know how they got my information, & my bank records prove I've never received an advance deposit. On several occasions I've asked for written proof of the debt or even a date when the debt has occured and they can't even provide me with that, instead they threatened to send the FBI to "arrest" me.  I called the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) to report this and they verified that this is in fact a SCAM, that unfortunately many people fell victim to already.  The FTC says they can't do anything about it because these scavenger companies don't fall under the guidelines for FTC enforcement, and recommends to either ignore them or change your phone number.

Same thing. Getting calls from a man named Jason Lee. Obviously from India or elsewhere in the middle east. I actually have a recorded message from someone else that is in on the scam with him actually telling me that they are scammers from india and are NOT with any legal department. Even told me how to retrieve the funds that had already been paid to them!
Turned all the info over to the bank and the SBI.

This is a PBX extension at Cleveland State University .. if you receive any calls from this number please advise us at security@csuohio.edu .. or technical folks as well AT&T are looking into it.

It is ANI spoofing .. I assure you they are not originating from here.
