It's Time Warner Cable trying to get you to sign up for their service.

Claimed to be Time Warner Cable.  Probably a scam.  They probably wanted my credit card number.  We already have TWC.  Our phone number indicates it is through TWC.  He did not know this.  He had a heavy foreign accent.  When I asked, "do you know who you are calling," he did not understand and said Time Warner Cable.  I said, "No, do you know WHO you are calling," and he hung up on me.

Man with a thick accent claimed to be from Time Warner Cable.  Since I am on the Do Not Call Registry, the call would be illegal.  Time Warner Cable probably wouldn't violate that law.  Therefore, this is likely a scammer on a phishing expedition.

Get a lot of 216 area codes. I block all 216 area code numbers. My Cleveland friends contact me from Facebook.
