Robo guy trying to sound human. Soliciting money to train police. Thought that's what my taxes were for. Clearly a scam. Now blocked.

when i spoke with someone from these paid solicitors, i was told if they send an envelope and you do not send the money back, they will send the account to a collection agency. i would not do it. the charity probably gets 10 cents on the dollar

If they told you that then they are most definitely a SPAMMER. No legitimate org would say that as it simply isn't true.
