Mr. Number blocked this call on my cell phone.

not familiar. did not answer and no message was left.

Like another poster, area is also local to me. Calls NEVER appear on my phone with a 1 in front of the area code. Seeing 1-216-xxx was an immediate red flag. Possibly the number is spoofed. Didn't answer, no message left. Tired of these money grubbin scumbag scammers

Just called did not leave msg.

Received a call about an hour ago from this number. It was not a robo call, but a real caller.  I have received this same man with the same scamming message but with a different phone number (likely he's spoofing phone numbers from innocent people)before.
He calls saying "Hello, this is Josh from your Customer Service Department... (spiel)". I am so frustrated with this caller and with all the scam calls going around, I got a bit miffed and told him stop calling (which he won't) and I was reporting him to the government. After which I hung up on an American/English sounding "Josh",

Truth be told I live in the state in which these calls from this area code seems to be coming from and I called our state's Attorney General's office about another scam call,  They say likely these calls with the 216 area code (the greater Cleveland area) are not coming from the area the phone number says the call is coming from. That the scammer is more often than not calling from another country and spoofing (stealing into) an honest person's phone number without their knowledge. The AG's office says never to give one's personal information or financial information out and not to fall for a scam requiring an exchange of money. Seniors are vulnerable to these calls.

The Ohio AG's office says these type phishing and scamming calls are happening at a alarming growth rate. So much so that law enforcement is having a hard time finding these people to bring them to justice. As for the Do Not Call List, well I was told it is useless to report any calls as the Do Call Call List is not functioning or working.

I have the Call Control app on my Verizon smartphone. (One can get the app through Google Play.)  It catches block calls to where your phone won't ever ring on a future ring from the same number. Another feature is that the app will tell you if a call is a scam or what it is.  My Call Control app is showing this to be a Scam Call and that the person doing the .has put "Disney" as the entity that the call is coming. Disney is NOT in Ohio! So beware that this is not Disney, the real Disney does not operate in this manner of phishing off of different numbers.

These calls are not mere pranks. They are criminally intentions to scam people, to which I will not mark these calls as "Prank" down in the call type. There needs to be a scam/phishing option to mark the Call Type of these calls. I therefore marked this call as "Unknown"... but it is a Scamming call.
