Big Hoax. Pretending to be Microsoft. They tell you there is something wrong with your computer. When pressed they can't tell you anything about it. They try to get you to put a command into your computer which then gives them access and control. Do not believe them.

Total scam...they claim to be from Microsoft.  The only reason I gave them consideration was because my computer indeed crashed two days ago.   I asked if they're calling about my desktop or laptop and they couldn't answer.  Very heavy accent despite being from "Ohio".  When I refused their instruction, they got insulting and  pushy.  I think Microsoft is techno-savvy enough to send a message through WIndows or email instead of the old-fashion phone.

Same as above about microsoft.  I told them (Sam) my windows were really dirty and I used the last worm for fishing.  He refused to clean my windows and hung up.

Someone named Sam. Said he was from Elmont NY and that my computer was sending Microsoft messages that indicated a problem. Could not articulate what kind of problem but if I could allow access he could help fix it. Total scam!

Ridicules.  Called and tried ti tell me he was official Microsoft but his company name was windows server. When I pressed him about why he called he said my computer was not accepting updates from Microsoft. this was untrue since I had ti reboot just this morning to finish an update install. #1 Microsoft will NEVER call you. You can't even get there tech support to call you back. #2 Microsoft will NEVER farm out there support to a third-party support center,  they want the money themselves.
