Called my cell. Recorded message said a friend of mine had recommended me for free home security system.  I couldn't resist calling them out on that one, so I connected to a live operator.  I asked him which one of my friends (knowing full well the friend line was BS) was responsible for giving them my number.  He, of course, said he did not have that name (no kidding!).  I told him that proved the whole thing was a scam because none of my friends would hook me up with a tele-scammer.  He got nasty and said it must have been one of my facebook friends, and since I'm not on facebook that was more BS.  He said all companies, including the one I work for, have marketing departments.  Another funny comment, since I don't work for a company.  He then said if I didn't believe in the marketing system I must be a communist.  Then he started rattling something off in Spanish and hung up on me.
