suspicious call about "whether we had a home security system or not"

I didn't answer, most likely a scam

Same type of call.  GIven that a group was "surveying for ADT" a couple of days ago, I assume that's where they got our #.  They had ADT badges and such, but I still don't like it...

I got the same thing...ADT survey guy and then calls saying they would give me a FREE home security system....very strange considering the neighbors had just mentioned they thought someone had been going into their backyard a few days earlier

Got a call from a lady saying she worked for ADT and were offering free equipment/instal/service if I was willing to post a sign in my yard for ADT.  I said no, and got another call 3 days later - different girl, same offer.  Then I got a follow up call 20 minutes later from ESSI Securities (419) 471-1500 "confirming" my appointment.
