Same thing here but they called at 7:02 AM and I work night shift so I only got home an hour before they called. He said my computer was having a problem doing a system critical download. What kind of a bone head do these morons think we are? Other times they claim they are from some obscure tech department from Microsoft. Or from some unknown tech company offering services to service Microsoft. Besides I find it hard to believe Microsoft's head office calls from India, Kuwait, Bangladesh, Russia, Indonesia, or Philippians.

I don't know who it is, but they called me at 7:20 a.m. today and I wasn't very happy about it. When I answered it rang and a person answered. They said they were calling from Microsoft. I cut him off and yelled "Do you know what time it is?" and then told them not to call me again and I hung up.

Same as previous callers -- "Microsoft Tech support" at 8:27 am. Said they were not telemarketers. I told them I didn't own a computer ;-) and they hung up. Frustrating that they are calling in the morning & I'm on a do not contact list.
