They prey on senior citizens who don't know any better. They gain access to the computer remotely and then lock the owner out, then they demand your $20 or more to let the owner regain access. It's criminal what these scammers do to people.

Moron claiming to be from windows regarding my computer.  i asked are you calling from Microsoft, she said no, windows. I said but windows is Microsoft and she said oh and hung up on me.

A woman claiming to be calling from Windows about my computer.  They are no longer saying they are from Microsoft but now are calling from the operating system instead.  Stupid Fools!!!
