Same thing with me. They said it was a Cash Advance loan, which I recognized. They even sent me a fake email stating if I paid they would drop the felony charges and report my payment to 3 major credit bureaus. The scam was that they only would accept moneygram as payment. Any legit place will take a check by phone, debit or credit card. And they didn't have the specific information on the Cash Advance loan place, like address and phone number. They were very convincing, but never do a moneygram or pre-paid Visa payment. Your money is gone in minutes. I fell victim and lost $810. They will get caught. They always do. They will pay one way or another. I pray this saves someone else from losing money.
