same thing happened to me today.  Told them I was at work (I was) yet they kept asking whether I had my personal home computer in front of me, even after I said I didn't.  when I asked for the company name, they did tell me, but I couldn't understand what either the rep or supervisor was saying... I told them this, that I couldn't understand their English, but they insisted on repeating it over and over again.  They didn't quit even after I asked themt o stop and listen to me, and I asked whether they understood English or not.  Asked where they were located, and I think they said "Europe City" or something like that.  Hung up on them when they wouldn't quit even after I told them a dozen times that I wasn't interested.

It's a call center in Pakistan or India saying they are Microsoft tech support and they were notified that I have a problem.  When I caught on and stated questioning the supervisor, he said "Go F myself" then hung up.

They called me twice today.  Said they were from the Microsoft Windows Service Center and were calling because they were getting messages from my computer indicating that it was infected with a virus.  I had already heard about this scam,  told them I had a Mac, and it was highly unlikely that a Mac computer was sending error messages to Microsoft Windows.   They hung up and hopefully won't call back.
