This is a scam - but I like to mess with these people.  They asked for my mom by a last name she had 2 marriage's ago - I called the 866 number they gave me, and James O'Neal of Trustmark Legal Corporation (doesn't exist) told me it was slander when I told him, it's a scam.  I explained to him the legal grounds for slander - a 3rd party had to hear it, and being that I'm in PA it is illegal to record a call - he then said I'm harassing him and he's calling the police.  I asked him if he would please do that, and he hung up.

John Lewis called with a civil legal matter for my husband. Apparently called his ex-wife asking for him too. Gave me a case file# and an 800# to call. He didn't say who the company was in the civil matter and when I asked for his company he just said process server. I told him process servers don't make phone calls and they were either a debt collector (we don't owe anyone) or a scam and hung up on him.
