Multiple calls after 9pm to elderly parents. Called them back to have parents removed from list. No way to speak to person or leave message. No way to ID them. Troubling.

Blocked, because my VM greeting warns that calls will be blocked if no message is left. No message was left.

3 calls in two nights, all after 8pm.  My Xfinity caller ID comes up Doylestown, PA.  I won't answer nuisance calls like that.

Same as 2 posters above. Caller ID says "Doylestown PA". Unfortunately, 215 is a local area code so I can only block the number and not the whole area code. When I answered the "guy" on the other end kept saying "Bernice" then silence, then "Are you there?". No idea who Bernice is! It's the scammers that are calling now with a bot asking for someone, then saying either "Are you there?" or "Is the man or woman of the house available". This scam had recently been on the news here. They want you to say "yes". That way they have you recorded saying "yes" and agreeing to something. They will then try to take funds from your bank or cc accounts and they have you agreeing to it via recording. They are getting pretty good at this. Just block the number or area code if the area code is not local to you (or you don't know anyone there). They will keep trying. They are smart enough now to use local area codes since so many phones now allow you to block not just numbers but whole area codes. WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T SAY "YES"!
