The problem with recording calls is that every state has their own laws regarding one person or two person. You need to check the recording laws in your state to be sure that you are abiding by them, or else you could be facing criminal wiretapping charges when you play that recording in court. At the very least, it will be inadmissible.

Dont give your info, they knew both my and my husbands name. Said they were Kate and Crowley law firm divorce lawyers. Kept asking for my address and wouldnt answer my questions

Didn't recognize the number but I answered anyway. Just received my first call. The guy wanted me to verify my address and last four of my ss# before we could proceed any further. When I asked what was the call in reference to. He repeated that I had to verify my address and last four of my ss# before we could proceed. Well I guess we can't proceed then...pretty sure we both hung up at the same time.
