I too have received phone calls of this nature from a man sounding like he was from India, identifying himself as Chris Williams at times, and as Peter Kreiger at other times. He said I had pending legal charges against me from Florida. I have never lived in Florida, nor even vacationed there since 1996! I believe this is some kind of scam also. He gave me the ph# 215-475-6359 to call him back at, after calling me at my place of work, and threatening to get me fired from my job if I did not comply with his company.
I have reported this to my employer, and my manager.  Please Be weary of any such calls.  I have previously been ripped off by a similar scam by a British sounding gentleman, who I unfortunately believed may represent a legitimate company, but upon further investigation discovered it was a fraud, and I did loss some money, which did cause me some very real hardship.  Be careful out there!

Foreign speaking male caller stating he is from some fraud dept and that I have been listed in the case, etc.....  I feel certain this is some fraud, scam call as it also happened some months back.  Unfortnately I did not keep a record of the exact number but do recall it was a 215 number.  When I threatened to report them or go further with investigation of them, they abruptly hung up on me.

I just received a voice mail from a foreign speaking man indicating that I have pending charges filed against me in a court of law and I was to call him back at 215-475-6359.  I will not call them back.  They have not called me at work yet, but I am sure they will.  They always seem to want to transfer me to someone else to explain my situation.  If he was truly an officer of the law, he would be able to explain the charges against me. I have gotten very rude with them and told them that if they call my work place and cause issues, I will seek legal action through them.

An Indian sounding person just called my phone with the same phone number, the voicemail that was left was in regards to a lawsuit filed against me, he left a number for me to call back which was different than the number that he called from. I can tell you that I have been receiving all types of phone calls since I did payday loans, but I have noticed that no one is stating that on here so I wonder if that is the case.... BEWARE OF THESE SCAMS AND I WILL NEVER DO ANOTHER PAYDAY LOAN AGAIN!!!

Man with a thick accent called my company and asked for an employee that is no longer with us.  When I informed him not to call back, he insisted on speaking to the employee.  I informed him that I had Googled the number he was calling from, and that it was a scam, and to not call back.  He proceeded to use profanity towards me, and made some crude sexual remarks.  Within 5 minutes called back asking for someone I had never heard of.
