I usually will let all calls go to  VM even if the call comes from a city or state where I have business or friends because all contacts I want are already registered on the phone to show up with the person's name.  Most times the caller is hanging up before the third ring is over just to avoid VM.    If caller doesn't wait it out and leave a VM then it is definitely a scam and the number  gets blocked.  I got calls from this number once on 12/8 and once today.  Never ever, ever, ever answer!!
