Answering machine answered before I could pickup receiver.  Caller hung up

Got a call from AMVETS 215-436-8697 which is out of Philly PA. Didnt realize that my husband, who is a Marine, joined AMVETS (American Veterans) years ago and they were just calling for donations.

I to received a call last night from this number at 7:06pm. We were not home at the time so I checked my VM-no message from this number.
I also put our name/number on the "do not call" list. It has helped a bit but, does not get rid of all the telemarketers.
We found what helps with these kind of callers...they do continue to call however,they wont leave messages!! We put a pre-recording of Garfield on our Voice mail. Actually, its helps wth all kinds of callers...even family! lol

Just received this call as well. Didn't answer it since we didn't recognize the number. Your commments have been very helpful...thank you all. Whenever we receive telemarketing calls we say: "Would you please put us on your do-not-call list?" They have to, it's the law!

keep getting calls from the same number...NOW there should be place to turn theses numbers into...whether they are good or bad. If you don't want them calling ...then YOU don't want them calling
