they called here and mentioned the whole M thing and dissconnected. scary

Came up as "Pennsylvania" on the ID, and just said "M", as others callers have reported. I heard nothing more, and hung-up after 5-10 seconds.

3:16pm 11-30-07 I came home to my caller ID displaying this number . There was no message on my machine. I got a call last week from another area code in NJ with a similar scenario, 732-242-6524.  Since I put my name on the National Do Not Call and the PA Do Not Call list, these calls have been minimal. Since my answering machine message starts out with the phone tone indicating a non working number,sit.wav. I'm hoping these intrusive automatic calls will not call back once they hear it. So far it's working. You can go here, click on sit.wav at the bottom and save as   sit.wav.   IE browser works fine to do this. Good luck

We were contacted by an individual who claimed to be calling from a Non Profit Group soliciting contributions. The Caller ID box showed this number. My wife and I are also senior citizens.

Got a call and they asked if this was "such and such residence".  I said why.  They said you were gonna donate a million dollars to some organization.  I said no.  Who is this? Then there was silence on the line.  I hung up
