Rec'd 3 hang-up calls tonight after 8:30 pm, finally called number back. Telemarketing firm selling newspaper subscriptions for the Portland Press Herald (Maine) for $1 for the year?
When I asked the young man to stop calling me, he became extremely rude & said there was nothing
I could do about it! He was politely informed he was mistaken, I could cancel my subscription to the Portland Press Herald, which I intend to do first thing Monday morning!

1-215-383-9538 has called several times. We screen and did a trace on that number.
It is a calling service owned by the Portland (Maine) Press Herald. As we do not do any business with the PPH they are acting against the law calling our number which is restricted and unlisted. These are automatic calls and should be outlawed.

But we now have there number and are on our list to cancel when further calls come from that number.

Telemarketting outfit hired by Portland Press Herald & Maine Sunday Telegram newspapers soliciting subscriptions, relentless,  2 calls per day x 6 months, & still continuing. computer generated call.
Have called them back,as well as Portland Press Herald, to no avail.
Funny thing we have been subscribers for past 30 years, have since cancelled their papers!

F' you [***]. I just cancelled my PPH paper for good!!
And if you send email messages forgetaboutit...we will get you.

Looks like they've been identified.  I get 1-2 calls per day from them.
