I got this call for the first time today. I almost answered as my husband suffers from diabetes and has multiple appointments but I noticed the area code and chose not to answer. Then I looked up the number and was brought to this site. Thank you all very much for taking the time to post this info. I do not have time or money to waste on scams like this.

P.S.  Call was listed on caller I.D. as APPOINTMENT.

These people called me on my work # and told me I was to receive a $100.00 gift card and a $50.00 gift card and be given sample products to try for doing a survey last week.

I knew I did not do a survey last week nor any time I can recall (they are always a setup) so I knew this was not legit.

When I asked exactly what survey I did she got real rude and proceeded to give her speech all over again, that is until I put my phone down next to the TV and let her talk to it until she realized and hung up lol.

I have been getting these calls for the last year.  I usually do not answer them but a couple of times I did once as the gift card for filling out a survey, another time for the "free" security system.  With the gift card i told them to give it to a more needy family, with the security system they hung up when i asked how much the free security system would cost for the monitoring.

If you press 2 to be taken off the list it just confirms that they got an active number and they keep calling.

I report these calls both to the FEC "do not call" site and the California State Attorney General's office.   Between the two of them, they make the calls go away.   I've done this several times now over a period of a year or so, and it seems to work.

I have gotten calls from this number in the past, it was a robo call with a message about a "free home security system" This time it was an actual person speaking in very heavily accented English (she sounded Indian) asking me how much weight I wanted to lose and when I asked who was calling she said the company name way too fast. I asked her to repeat it and all I could understand was "Blue Fox ..." I asked her what she was talking about and she told me I had inquired about Garcinia Cambogia supplements and they were going to send me a sample for "free". I told her I did not sign up for it, I am not interested and to stop calling me. She proceeded to try to sell me the diet pills anyway. I told her again "Do not call me again. I am not interested. I did not sign up for your samples." and hung up. I am pretty sure this is a scam, since I have recieved calls from the same number for different stuff.
