Recieved a call asking about cleaning my chimney ! Weird call because they knew my name and street I lived on !

How Bizarre !
I've had 13 of these "chimney sweep" calls in 2 years now,
even after telling them we have a heat pump, no chimney required.
Has anyone out there followed through with these people ?
Can't imagine that's what they really do - clean chimneys.

To the contrary, you may actually get the service offered, though provided by some gypsy contractor who is dependent on the "leads" from illegal cold sales calls. A contractor who cannot build his own customer base honestly is also not the kind you want tromping on your roof to clear a chimney or a gutter, or to paint or powerwash, or perform any other home maintenance typically offered by their "lead generator" creeps.

Pray for these people. Pray that they accept Jesus as their Savior. Then they can use their time for good and to serve others instead of annoying them. Pray and see what God will do?
