Someone claiming to be from the Fraternal Order of Police trying to solicit donations. Apparently my answering machine greeting is short enough to trick the autodialers into thinking a human answered, and this guy launched right into his sales pitch when my machine picked up. When I played back the message, it started out with, "Hello sir", and then the guy rambled on and on without even stopping to take a breath. Then he asked something like, "So can we count on your donation today?" Then there was a few seconds of awkward silence, followed by a confused "Hello?" Then two or three more before it finally dawned on him and he hung up.
