i just got a call from this number - really 215-215-2151  how long did it take to think this number up

Just recieved a call from this number as well.  He "wasn't trying to sell me anything" and was doing a survey on fire safety.  Inquiring about how my smoke detectors are wired, etc.  Then goes into asking questions about my families security in the house, etc.  Definitely something not right about this.  When you call the number back it doesn't go anywhere.  Anyone know what company this is or how to reach out to them directly?

Answered phone at 7e.s.t. Caller ID showed PENNSYLVANIA 215-215-2151. A woman with an accent tried to introduce herself and her company. After rushing over that, her question to me was regarding smoke detectors. I told her I would answer no questions from her. I asked her to repeat the intro. She said that she was calling me from Tampa,FL but is managed in PA. She told me what the 2nd question would be, also regarding smoke detectors. I asked if her whole line of questions were questions about smoke detectors or if we were going to be discussing other topics? She hung up.
Based on what she was telling me we agreed that she was working in Tampa, for someone in Penn., and indicated she was somehow affiliated with GE.

Call came during dinner hours, which is rude.

First time I received a call from this number.  They called at 2 pm.  I do not answer numbers I do not know, so I sent them to voicemail.  They did not leave one.  I would think answering a number that looks as ridiculous as this one would pertain to a scam.

I got a call from this number today at noon & they hung up just as soon as I answered. I suppose it was because it is a business number.
