Got a call wanting to talk with an ex. Said they were Hamilton Law. Told them wrong number and knew my name. Really weird

Received a call from this number indicating they were with The Hamilton Law Fim, left a case number and expected a return call by the end of the day or they would assume I didn't want to clear the debt.  The return call number was 844-204-2274.  Scam all the way when they don't leave more information than a case number.  BEWARE!

Received a call from this number indicating she was Sally Thompson with Hamilton Law Firm she left a case number and expected a phone call tod are she was sending it to finalization to my county  and  juridical  where I reside and that it is going to escalate from something small to something big.  Sally only left her name, phone number and a case number starting with MK6244 but didn't leave name of company she's representing. She called from 2149740613 voicemail phone call back number 866-296-1024 ext. 739 when I called no answer.

These people contacted a lot of folks in my family. I called them back they said they were a law firm on retainer for 30 days so they get paid no matter if i pay or not. At first she (Nettie) gave several pay options but none were viable unless i could pay then. I did not pay anything, she said it was a refusal to pay and literally hung up. Later I contacted my consumer protection department (on behalf of my settlement company) they told me that if they will not give an address to send in money today that they are basically scammers. Also if she is a real law firm they would send me something in the mail within 5 days of contacting me by phone. Hope this advice helps, they are likely scammers.
