Some young gal left a message that said "This is Ashley. I have your quote from Allstate Auto Insurance and it is actually looking pretty good!".  The problem is that I didn't apply for auto insurance and my voice mail clearly says "Hang up and send a text message."  Ashley is obviously can't dial the number of her customer and she doesn't understand English when she left voice message when clearly she was told to send text message.  Now I got a text addressed to Edith saying that Vicki has an Allstate quote.  I am not Edith.

I think maybe this is where they act like you are their customer and try to get you to call them.  I am now getting multiple calls per day on a cell phone that usually never gets any calls.
Never do business with a company that lies to you instantly on your first contact.  It can only go downhill from there.  Maybe they want your personal information like driver's license number, social security number, date of birth, and all that information that allows identify theft.  Surely everyone personally knows an insurance agent and you would not resort to robo telemarketers.
