In regards to a check

Who is Meridian? I received a call stating that I once worked for them and now they are going out of business and they have a check for me. The person one the voice message said her name is Tracy Miller.

I also recieved a similar call.  I called back and the lady stated that a company I worked for had gone out of business and was trying to send me a check.  I gave her a po box but was a little curious when she asked for a physical address stating that sometimes they companies like to use messengers to deliver checks.  Also, I have not had many jobs and as far as I know no company I have ever worked for has gone out of business.  I think something else is going on here.

my sister gave me a mssg from this same number and person...tracey miller...i called directly and got an answering machine...i did not leave a mssg...i do skiptracing with my job so i decided to google the number...and most of the companies i have worked for are still up and running...just thought this was strange....this call came to my parents home in VA...
