Received a call and the fast talking lady wanted to know if I accepted credit cards at my place of business because she wanted to do a 15 minute presentation about compliance. I did not have time nor interested and she stated that she would send someone by my office the next day to go over this with me. They had an old address listed so I said "sure" who knows if they will show up or not - I am not there any longer. She would not take "no" for an answer.

Same situation but a young man phoned asking for a name of a person and a business name.  I also looked up the phone number online and found it was registered to one of a few people named "Cynthia Henneke" in Texas.

During the call he also wanted to know whether the business address was a residence, and whether the number called was a mobile or a land line.

Received a phone call from this number today (4/18/13) and my caller ID said Dallas, Texas. No one on the other end of the phone call responded to my greeting and I was immediately placed on some kind of hold with music playing in the background. After holding for a couple of minutes I hung up.

Same thing. Answered phone from this number. Caller ID name was "QUBE".  Nothing but on-hold music.  Hung up, added it to the block list on my landline phone's base station.  Whoever they are, they won't get me to pick up again.  Ha!  One of these days, I'm going to invent a gadget that answers rejected caller ID's then endlessly plays back to them a recording of a life insurance sales pitch, or something like that.

Call came in today 4/26/13 at 8:24 a.m. No message left. Didn't answer as company had just arrived.  Glad I didn't after checking the number and this plus other complaint sites.  Shows up as QUBE with caller ID. Law states calls like this i.e. solicitors are not to call before 9:00 a.m. PLUS, I renewed my numbers on the NO CALL LIST but the robo dialers get past it. Its a waste of time dealing with these.
