PLEASE become educated about what 800Notes is. This site is for posting number that are placing calls so others can find out what the deal is. You cannot issue demands for the people calling you to stop here. Threatening them here is no more effective than threatening them on the phone.
What helps is when people find out what they can about a caller and share those details here. If enough information can be pieced together it can help track down the callers and get them into hot water with the law. But that is not a guaranteed outcome even a fraction of the time.
Your best personal defense against the calls is to use your Caller ID and not answer any call from a number you do not recognize. Let the call go to voicemail. Look up the number and see if others have reported it. Add a comment with any additional or corroborating information you may have obtained. If they did not leave a message DO NOT call the number back. The only thing that will accomplish is giving them a working phone number to keep calling.
If you can, get a Google Voice number and transition all of your legitimate callers to using only that from now on. Set it to transmit the GV number, not the callers, and don't answer any call that isn't your GV number (or one you absolutely know by heart is someone you want to talk to).That way you can safely ignore most, if not all, all calls placed your actual phone number.
