call from Capital Consultants,  trying to reach a relative.  When I told them not to call me the yield at me threatened to file a suit against me.  They would not provide contact information.  

They tried getting ahold of me had really old address and debts that were never debts trying to collect a massive amount of money and threatened with fraud jail time and lawsuits for not giving themmy ppersonal information

They called saying they were getting me for check fraud and they were going to persue a lawsuit... for a debt that i had paid off over a year ago... what they were saying violates lending laws. the guy then asked if i was going to pay triple the amount what the loan was for for late fees and wanted my information... he also said they could represent me as a lawyer, which does not make sense if they are representing a company thats trying to collect a debt... i told him im not paying anything i have no idea whats going on and he said he would send me an email with all the information and never sent it and he never called back.. they are deffinetly scam artist do not give them anything!!!

These people have been calling my phone saying that I owe for a pay day loan that I never got in a place I never been to

I got one call from them today. they say I owe for a payday loan I never applied for and were threatening me. Is this a scam or not?
