I think that you should unplug the phone at night, let the answering machine pick up the messages and keep your cell phone on for emergencies (if you have one). If that doesn't work, try leaving the phone off the hook at night. If none of these work, contact the local authorities and change your phone number.  Some phone companies will do it for free if you are being harassed or stalked. Be sure to keep a notebook with dates and times that this guy called so the police have a record. Be sure to keep any recorded messages for the police. Good luck.

A man with a deep voice, kept calling my number all night, starting at 2:45 am, until 7 am, when I was awake enough to press *69 and call him back. He seem the stalker/prankster type.
