Caller ID said the number was from "People Calling". Really original! Didn't answer.

Yet another call from this same number. Caller ID identified the source as "People Calling". This time the robot left a political campaign message for Vernon Franko, running for city council in tomorrow's election.

Vern, harassing phone calls really will give you name recognition, but maybe not the way you intended.

Got A call from this same Number

Freaking "March of Dimes" People, This time the robot left a bleeding heart message about saving some kids lives.

This kind of harassment will not help hem and will only give them a bad reputation.

People calling People is just a anonymous political polling company. They ask questions about your opinion on a couple of political matters of current concern.

I got this same call. it lasted less than 60 seconds. I did not have to answer. They did not ask for any identifying information, did not solicit any money from me. And I could hang up at any time. They only make one call and then never call again about it.

So where do you figure you were harassed. I was not harassed in any way or do you just consider any call from anyone not already on your friends list to be an automatic harassment.

Jeez you guys are either anal retentive or your just trying to spam on someone.

People calling people is a political polling service. the call registered voters and urge them to vote in upcoming elections. they will often inform you of of ballot issues in your area.

If you received a call from them then it means you were being urged to vote in the election. If you were not a registered voter then perhaps the person who previously owned your number was a registered voter .

The call was announcing an election from Dallas City Council between Angela Hunt, James Nowlin, Brian Oley and Vernon Franko in District 14.

Of course if your one of those people who don't vote, then you really don't have much right to complain when your elected officials don't perform up to your expectations.

Unfortunately, There are people like M and X above who are annoyed by living in a democracy.
