Hi Drew my name is Officer Jay Gates and I'm calling you from Federal crime and enforcement network and eve(?) but the reason why I'm calling is that it's in reference to somebody(?) you see this complaints and allegations as well as and-i'm-being(?) arrest warrant which I receive you done(?) your name and then your white dad to be so evil but there was a very second bloody moment you receive this message I want you to call me back on my number. That's area code two one four oh 5846676. I repeat the number once again it's area code 2145846676. Don't try to disregard this message or all situation unfolds on you. Okay goodbye

I got a similar call from a local number 775 901 3333 asking me to call 2145846676.

I received a call this morning from a local number. The caller represented himself as someone from the county sheriffs dept. He said there was a warrant for my address and I needed to call 214-584-6676 and speak to Officer Michael Black within 45 minutes to avoid being arrested. I asked him what was the charge and he said that I needed to call the number to find out. This sounded fishy to me. So I tried to call back the local number which was recorded on my phone. "The number was no longer in service". I googled the number he gave me to call and found the message above. Then I called the local police.
The officer informed me that it is a SCAM. If I had called the number they would have asked for a sum of money to take care of the warrant. They have some success with some older citizens. Then they move on to the next city. DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER!!

Harrasing calls from this number

Received a call from 425-674-2000 with a  Lee Brian claiming to be from county sheriff's office. Apparently there's a federal warrant against a name and unless I call 214-584-6676 and speak to a deputy called Thomas O'Brian or give myself up to the local police station, they're obliged to send investigating team to my residence and place of employment.

I immediately called local police station and they had no idea about this. I then called county sheriff's office and after checking the number 214-584-6676, they confirmed that it is a Texas based collection agency. First of all, use of such scare tactics are illegal. Considering, there are no outstanding collections against me, this is definitely a SCAM. Sheriff's office recommends that we call Attorney General's office and file a complaint against it.
