Alliance has called me many times, despite my number being registered with the DNCR. Complaints to the DNCR and the BBB have gone nowhere. Apparently the only thing that MAY convince this company to change its advertising methods is to cost them money. Take as much of their time as possible, preferably setting up appointments for installation, and then cancel/change your mind/don't be at home. I say this MAY convince them because I have just had them come for the second time (oops - not home...) and have set up a THIRD appointment... WOOHOO - great fun, and knowing that I'm helping to eliminate a societal nuisance is very satisfying!

Anthony from ALLIANCE said he is a collector for Monitronics Alarm Co., but they have their own billing/collection department and told me not to give out any info to Alliance.  Monitronics has no idea who they are.
