This number called our home last nite- asked for our son by name and then he disappeared talking to them,, He came back and I asked who it was--he said got our Xmas prsent. Then checked his wallet for money and asked me that we need to be home Thursday as they were going to deliver the present. First off- we are unlisted and how did they get his name. It scares me to know some predator is out there. We have contacted the police as our son is under age. They hopefully will be here when and if these people show up at our door. These are some sick people-- beware!!! Tried calling back this am- of course not available.

Your school district is required to release a directory of all students which includes names, addresses, and phone numbers.  Your child is on that list and will not be removed unless you explicitly state that you want this information kept confidential.

Contact your PTA and school office to have your child's name removed from the school directory.

CALLED TO TALK TO MY FIFTEEN YEAR OLD SON. MY MOTHER WAS THERE AND TOLD HER THAT HE WAS A CHILD. THE WOMAN SAID HER NAME WAS VICKIE AND THAT SHE WAS FROM HIS SCHOOL. PARENTS WATCH OUT

I'd be curious how these weirdos are obtaining the names of children in the household.  That number is unlisted (of course) but shows up on WhitePages.com as originating from Dallas, TX on a line provided by Broadwing Communicaitons, LLC.
