Received call from 214-396-5539
I called the number back, a woman (young girl?) answered, I told her to never call me again, she promptly hung up. I called back and a rude man named TOM at a debt service company answered. He wanted to "help" me lower my interest rate, I asked him what his company charged for the service, He kept asking if I had a certain amount of Debt, I said if I did what business was it of his? after asking him several times how much they charged, he said it was based on the amount I owed. I have no outstanding debt. I told him to stop calling and to never call back, I told him the number I dialed (214-396-5539) and called him by his stated name of "Tom" and that I am recording the conversation. He replied "you called me" to which I said, sure, I dialed your number randomly and you tried to sell me a service. then he said "you should have dialed "2" at the prompt, I said I did as "2" was the number for the next representative He promptly hung up. Claimed to be a non-profit, however everything he says is to get personal information. Only name they would give for the company is "Consumer Debt Help Line" they claim to be rated A+ with the better business bureau.
