If they were a legitimate company they would be concerned.  But because they are a scam taking them to court is impossible, they just drop the phone number they are using and move to another .

Called on 2nd business line.  Dead air for 10 seconds, then hung up.

Got a call at my home number. Saw number & Home Security from caller ID. I hung when the call didn't connect after about 10 secs.

I got a call from home security years ago. They said they were doing a survey for the governor's office and wanted to know if I liked my home security. Then they asked more personal questions about home security and neighborhood security. I sensed a scam when finally they laughed and said thank you for the info. I called police immediately suspecting it was a thief checking out our neighborhood. Police confirmed they had issues with callers like that. The phone number was not traceable.

Forward the call to Nancy Pelosi's office!  Port your number over to Callcentric, use the call treatment feature and forward all calls from the 214 area code to reach Nancy Pelosi, Then if they call you from another area code forward that one over to Harry Reid's office. They love telephone terrorists, terrorists, and illegals.
