Called and did not leave any messages. I look up in the internet and found "caller scammer" - I blocked this number.

We have been receiving calls from this number saying that they are attempting to collect a debt that was paid years ago.  When we tell them we already paid and have proof they hang up.  Now they won't answer their phone.  Sounds like a scam that needs to be reported.

They called me saying that I had a debt and that I was going to be sued by them.  I told them I wasn't aware of said debt and would just wait to hear from them directly.  They rudely tell me "See you in Court"  Yeah right.  Scammers and not very good ones.  Blocked!

"Process Server for law firm", regarding an old debt.  What is screwy about this is that it a debt from either 2000, 2002, or 2004 (They keep changing it) and supposedly it was never reported and that is why the Statue of Limitations doesn't apply.  In this case it was for a dept store that I honestly do not shop at. I told them that the card issuer for that store didn't have a record.  They then told me it was a fraud case on a Visa card issued again by a bank I have never used. I've had calls in the past for old debts, but this is a first, a debt that I REALLY never incurred.  I have submitted complaints to the Attorney General, FTC, and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.  These guys are up to really no good.  SCAMMER.
