I got the same call. Is it a scam? The Guy said that the sheriff would come to my work and arrest me tomorrow. Is that even allowed? Should I be worried?

They are claiming to be a Law Office and I owe 8000 $, I called them out on it and told the I would have my attorney contact them and then they hung up.

You CANNOT be arrested for debt, debt is a CIVIL matter, not a CRIMINAL matter.
Go to ftc.gov and read the FDCPA and learn your rights.

These people have been calling all day non stop they are a scam just using a differant number every time I thought they would quit but I guess not.I just blocked them so they cannot leave a message.
