Called re: wireless security system.  At first respectfully asked the caller to remove my name and phone number from their solicitation list. Repeated it several times, and she persisted in trying to persuade me to list to her talking points.  Spoke very broken English and impossible to understand. Asked her to confirm that she would removed my name/telephone number and she would not. Only way to stop the call was to hang up.

Called about wireless security system.   I told the lady that they should check the DNC list and hung up.  Spokeo says the number is from Garland, TX so it may be someone working from home.  I keep a list of numbers to add to my new Panasonic phone that blocks up to 250 numbers.  Best thing is that it blocks calls with no numbers!

I received a call today from this number and luckily did not answer.  It just galls me that I pay for a phone for my use and there is no practical way to limit calls to relatives and friends only.  Just like trying to keep the political campaigns from my porch although it's posted.  If I want anything I can find it, I don't respond to marketing techniques since my parents told me about them long ago.
