Unknown number

Called me to inquire about a car I had for sale on Cars.com. Proceeded through the call acting like an interested buyer but then it turned out that the guy was a rep for a company offering to advertise the car and provide other services.

I tried to tell them I wasn't interested but he insisted on telling me about further services. I tried again to show no interested but he continued to press me so I hung up.

This number 214-214-0002 has called me 3x today and once yesterday, there is nobody on the line when you answer and if I try to call back it says the number is disconnected???? or it just hangs up on its own, I have no idea what this is about.

OTHER INTERNET SITES STATE THIS # AS NOT A VALID #.  WHAT GOVERNMENT POLICY GIVES THESE PEOPLE THE RIGHT TO DO THIS S@&%, AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE TO HAVE TO PUT UP WITH IT?  HOW ABOUT SPENDING A LOOSE MILLION ON HARRASSMENT AND SCAMMERS OR LET THESE JERKS ADVERTISE THE OLD  FASHION WAY?
